Los Angeles dance videographer

Dance video production in Los Angeles and Southern California

LK Studio films dance recitals and performances for schools and studios across Southern California and beyond. We are based in Los Angeles, and travel to theatres and schools throughout the region. For shows outside California, see our dance video production page.

Each show is filmed with professional cinema cameras, colour corrected, edited and delivered in HD online or on USB. Our equipment holds image quality in the low stage light that recitals often have.

Who does LK Studio film for in Los Angeles?

LK Studio is the official photography and videography provider for Youth America Grand Prix, and works with Gala De Danza, Southland Ballet Academy and California Dance Classics, along with dance schools across Southern California. Local shows we have filmed include:

• Variety recitals. Shows that mix dance, acting, singing and live bands, recorded at university and community theatres such as Cal State LA.
• Full-length studio recitals. Two-hour shows with a ballet first half and a second half of hip hop, flamenco, tap, jazz and contemporary, filmed and photographed by one team.

How much does a Los Angeles dance recital video cost?

LK Studio dance video production starts at $1,295 with a 2-camera setup. It includes one professional videographer, up to two hours of filming, colour correction and edits, and online delivery. You can add recital photography, a studio photoshoot, direct sales or a discount for multiple shows on the same day. Full details are on our dance video production page.

Video and photography from one team

LK Studio offers both videography and photography, so your school does not need to book two separate vendors for recital day. Our videographers and photographers work together at the venue. Many studios pair recital video with dance school picture day, and families can order their photos and videos through our online orders page.

Can families watch the recital live?

Yes. LK Studio can stream your recital to family and friends who cannot attend in person. Our livestream add-on starts at $495, and larger productions are covered on our livestream production page.
