Dance competitions

LK Studio photographs and films dance competitions for organisers such as Youth America Grand Prix, Gala De Danza and California Dance Classics. We set up a booth that manages sales, processing and delivery of photos and videos, and we can produce a promotional video to help you share and build your event.

See dance competition photography and videography for how previews, on-site sales and delivery work.

Dance recitals and school performances

Our team has filmed and photographed recitals in many styles, including ballet, contemporary jazz, street jazz, hip hop, lyrical jazz, acro-dance and stand battle hip hop, as well as full productions such as The Nutcracker. Dance schools across Southern California trust LK Studio with their recital media, and we also cover school dance performances.

Dance performances and ballet

Our professional cameras shoot at a fast rate, so we catch the strongest moment of each routine. Our video cameras can record in RAW, which keeps quality high even in low stage light. We offer single or multi-camera coverage so the whole performance is captured.

For ballet companies, academies and dancers, see ballet photography in Los Angeles and our ballet photographer page for competitions and travel.

How are photos and videos delivered?

Videos are captured and delivered in high definition. Photographs are high resolution and can be printed at large sizes, ideal as wall art at home or in the studio. Media is delivered online through our own platform, where families can view and download it in HD.

Families looking for their event can start at dance photo and video orders.
